When I was young I fell in love with games and stories, sitting in my tree house for hours playing Pokemon on my Gameboy, or sneaking down to the basement in the dead of night to play Super Mario. They brought me into different worlds, exposed me to new experiences, helped me to understand how complex and nuanced people can be, and showed me a myriad world of new perspectives.
Playing games opened up my imagination and lit a fire in my heart, and that flame has shaped me throughout my life. Games taught me who I was and showed me what I really wanted: to share that passion with the people around me and bring the ideas in my mind to life.
I want to create. I want to make experiences that allow people to leave reality for a few hours and come back with new wisdom and understanding. I want people to be able to feel the same excitement and enchantment that I discovered long ago as a child and have always held dear to me since.
At my core I love people, human beings as we are, all of our glories and all of our flaws. We are all creators, using incredible imagination to shape the world within and without, and in doing this we can create so much good for others in so many little ways. Amazing teams of people created the games and experiences that have always brought so much joy and wonder to my life, and I want to use my creativity and experiences to help pay that love forward.
