LEAD GAME DESIGNER - CREATIVE LEAD - LEVEL DESIGNER - VO SCRIPT EDITOR
Capstone Game Project for the senior year at Columbia College Chicago. Climb the monolithic tower, filled with forgotten worlds and people trapped within. Move through the levels of the Tower, communicate with the trapped soul on each level, and help them find the absolution that eluded them in their lives. The project takes place on the Sea of Sands level of the Tower, helping the Guardian Fisherman resolve his resentment toward the Leviathan that destroyed his home and his people.
The creative and design lead - wrote documentation, helped create the level layouts, VO scripts, and worked closely with the other development teams to maintain vision and direction.

JOHNNY TURBO AND THE LIGHTNING IN HIS POCKETGAME DESIGNER - LEVEL DESIGNER
A lost, cursed game, made during a two day Game Jam. Johnny Turbo has escaped from his game and is haunting the Game Department, use your Ghost Lightning flash drive to find and capture him within.
The files for this game got overwritten while trying to open the finished build and progress was lost forever. A lesson in proper version control. One day it will be restored and completed. Created the core game concept and designed the main level, acted as a pseudo-lead creator. |
SPLITVR GAME DESIGNER - LEVEL DESIGNER
Test project to learn about VR and development for the Oculus Rift. The player is stuck in a fractured dimension, split in between the tear, each eye seeing different aspects or sections of the world. Close one eye or the other to solve puzzles and discover why this world has been torn asunder, and how to bring it back together again.
Wrote the initial pitch and game design documents. Designed the levels and story of the game.

HOUNDSLevel Designer
Game made during a 24-Hour Game Jam with a goal of learning to use Game Maker Studio. Rival gangs of Hounds are trying to take your turf, ride around town collecting powerups to use in a turn based combat and kick them out!
Created a paper prototype of the town level layout and then implementing it into the engine.

METACOSMIC EARTH RACEGame Tester - VO Script Writer
School capstone project that I assisted in as a directed study. A spaceship has crash landed and it's up to you to claim it first! Race between 4 players to acquire the power crystals and be the first to restart the crashed ship.
Worked as a game tester over the course of production and wrote the VO Script for the in game character dialogue.
